Explanation:

Given : Atmospheric pressure(P) = 10^5 N m^2

and in water pressure is double(P) = 2 x 10^5 N m^2

Density of water (rho) = 10^3 kg m^3

Gravity(g) = 9.8 m/s or 10 m/s

To Find ; h = ?

By using formula of Pressure,

Pressure (P) = density(rho) x gravity (g) x height (h)22

P = rho x g x h

h = P / g x rho

h = 2 x 10^5 / 10^3 x 9.8 ( 10 )

h = 200 ÷ 9.8 ( 10 )

h = 20.4m ( 20m )
