Heya ✌✌

a) Atomic no. = no. of protons = no. of electrons

Therefore
Atomic no.= 9

b) Mass -Atomic no. = Neutron no.

Mass .= 10 +9

Mass . = 19

Electronic configuration = 2,8,8, 1

Therefore valency = 1

Aryanchoubey: wrong hai kya answer
Shiv4225: yes wrong electronic configuration
Aryanchoubey: ok sir to kya hoga
Shiv4225: Shanaya ka wrong answer hai

HEY !!! HERE IS YOUR ANSWER 》 》

(a) Atomic number of elements is = 9
because we know that atomic no = no of protons or electrons...

(b) As it's atomic no = 9
so it's electronic configuration =2,7
it has 7 valence electrons so the element will need 1 electron to complete it's octet therefore it VALENCY= -1....

HOPE IT HELPS ^_^
