Its EC is 2,8,2 and its valency is 6 and valence electron in 2. Ca is more reactive than this element (magnesium). This is because since Ca has larger nucleus, its electro positivoty is high so itsmore reactive than magnesium (Mg). Yes......Mg is a metal ofcourse.....
