The atomic numbers of three element A, B and C are 12, 18 and 20 respectively. State, giving reason, which two elements will show similar properties.

A and C will have the similar properties as both of them have 2 electrons in its outermost shell i.e, they have same valency and In A the valence electron enters into the 3s orbital and in B it enters in 4s orbital i.e, both of them enters in s orbital .I hope the reason is correct.
