the Auditorium of a school has the length of 47 and breadth of 15 a carpet is laid inside the Auditorium living all around the margin of 3 metre from the wall from the walls

i) find the area of the carpet
ii) the area of the strip left uncovered
iii) if the cost of the carpet is 15rs per sq.m, find the total cost of the carpet​

= 47-6

= 41m

breath of carpet =15-(3*2)

=15-6

=9m

I) area=41*9=369sqm

ii)uncovered area=(47*15)-369

=705-369

=336sqm

III)cost=369*15

=5040rs
