It is stated that, the average of 25 numbers is 48.

∴ The sum of 25 numbers = (48×25)

                                          = 1200

Among 25 numbers 3 numbers are_

68, 72 and 37.

∴ The sum of the 3 numbers = (68+72+37)

                                                      = 177

*After reducing 3 numbers from 25 numbers, 22 numbers remain left.

∴ The sum of the remaining 22 numbers = (1200-177)

                                                                   = 1023

∴ The average of the remaining numbers =(1023/22)

                                                                      = 46.5

∴ The average of the remaining numbers is 46.5.
