Step-by-step explanation:

let the no. of friends be x

average age of friend = 32

total age of frineds be = 32x

total age after joining a new friends = 32x+25

a/q

32x+25= 293

32x=249-25

32x= 224

x= 224/32

x=7

hence the no. of friends be 7
