Suppose age of man is x and son is y;
(x+y)/2=30;
x+y=60 eq.1
(x-4)/(y-4)=10/3;
3(x-4)=10(y-4)
3x-12=10y-40;
3x-10y=-28 eq.2
Solving eq. 1 and eq. 2
we get y=16;
x+16=60 by eq. 1
x=60-16=44;
Difference between the present age is x-y=44-16=28
