the average age of the wife and a husband were married 7 years ago was 26 years including a child the average age of the age will be 25yrs after 2yrs.after how many years of their marriage was thr child born?

Let the age of wife be X
and age of Husband be Y

then 7 years ago there age

=> $\frac{(X-7) + (Y-7)}{2} = 26$


=> X + Y - 14 = 52

=> X + Y = 68 .................... (i)


Now as also given that the average age of both husband and wife Along with children after 2 years = 25


let age of children be Z

then equation

=> $\frac{(X+2)+ (Y+2)+ Z}{3} = 25$

=> X + Y + Z + 4 = 75

=> X + Y + Z = 71

also from equation (i)
X + Y = 68

=> age of children = Z = 71 - 68
= 3 years


So children was born (7 + 2) - 3

or 6 years after their marriage
