The average length of three tapes is 6200 feet.

∴ total length of three tapes = 6200 × 3= 18600 feet

According the question, small possible length will be = 5900  ( given )

Now let consider two tapes among three have small possible length = ( 5900 ×2)

= 11800 feet,

Now, greatest possible length will be :-

=( Total length of tapes - small possible length of two tapes)

=( 18600 - 11800) feet= 6800 feet.

Hence the greatest possible length of one of the other tapes will be 6800 feet.

Ans :-  The greatest possible length will be 6800 feet.
