The average marks scored by Faisal in certain number of test is 84 . He scored 100 marks in the next test. His new average score of all those tests is 86 , then find the total number of tests he appeared

Total runs in 16 innings = 16x runs

Runs scored in 16th inning = 92 runs

Total runs scored in 15 innings = (16x-92) runs

Average after 15 innings = (16x-92)/15

Average after 16 innings is 4 more than average after 15 innings

so, x- (16x-92)/15 = 4
15x - (16x-92) = 15*4
15x-16x+92 = 60
-x = 60-92
-x = -32
x=32

Hence, average after 16 innings = 32 runs
