Let a = x
B = x + 1
C = x + 2
D = x + 3

Now,
(X + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3)/4 = 54
(4x + 6)/4 = 54
4x + 6 = 54 * 4
4x + 6 = 216
4x = 216 - 6
4x = 210
X = 210/4
X = 52.5
So, the numbers are
A = 52.5
B = 53.5
C = 54.5 &
D = 55.5

Now, product of A and C
= A x C
= 52.5 x 54.5
=2861.25
