Answer:

(m/f) ( A - B ) + A

Step-by-step explanation:

Here,

  Number of males : m

  Number of females : f

Total employees=males+females

            ⇒ m + f

Given, ( about total salary )

⇒ Average salary = ( sum of salaries of all employees ) / ( no. of employees )

⇒ $A = ( sum of salaries ) / ( m + f )

⇒ $A ( m + f ) = sum of salaries

    Also,

⇒ Average salary of males = $B

⇒ $B = ( sum of salary of males ) / m

⇒ $B m = ( sum of salary of males )

     From above,

⇒ Sum of total salary = $A(m+f)

⇒ salary of males + salary of females = $A( m + f )

⇒ $Bm + salary of females = $A( m + f )

⇒ salary of females = $A( m + f ) - $Bm

⇒ average of salary of females ;

     ⇒ [ A( m + f ) - Bm ] / f

     ⇒ [ Am + Af - Bm ] / f

     ⇒ [ m( A - B ) + Af ] / f

     ⇒ (m/f) ( A - B ) + A
