Solution:

Given ,

  • Average speed of A = 18km/h
  • Average speed of B = 17m/s
  • Average speed of C = 2 km/min

We need to find

  • Arranging the speeds of vehicles in ascending order

________________________

We need to arrange in ascending order so , we have to convert all the units into one unit

Now , converting all the units into m/s

Case 1

18 km/h → m/s

To convert we need to multiply with 5/18

18 × 5/18

18km/h = 5 m/s

Case 2

17 m/s

It is already in m/s so , no need to convert

Case 3

2 km/min → m/s

Now , substituting 1 min = 60s & 2 km = 2000m

2km/min → 2000/60

2km/min = 33.33 m/s

Now , comparing

33.33 m/s > 17 m/s > 5 m/s

C > B > A.

In ascending order

A < B < C. [ answer ]
