Given,

The average weight of 20 boys in a class is 260kg and that of the remaining 5 boys is 50 kg.

To find,

The average weight of all boys in the class.

Solution,

The average weight of 20 boys in a class is 160 kg this means all the 20 boys have a weight of 160 kg.

Therefore, the total sum of the weight of  20 students is ⇒ 160 × 20 = 3200kg.

The average weight of the remaining 5 boys is 50 kg each.

Therefore, the total sum of the weight of the remaining 5 students is ⇒ 50 × 5 = 250kg.

Now, we have to find the average weight of all boys in the class-

Total boys = 20 boys + 5 boys = 25 boys.

Total weight of all boys = 3200 kg + 250 kg = 3450 kg.

Therefore, the average weight of each boy in the class = (Total weight of all boys) / (Total number of boys).

⇒  Average = 3450 / 25 = 138 kg.

Therefore,  the average weight of all boys in the class = 138 kg.
