Average of 24 students' weight = 58 kg (Given)

Sum of the 24 students' weight = 58 x 24 = 1392 kg

.

Average of 26 students' weight = 60.5 kg (Given)

Sum of the 26 students' weight = 26 x 60.5 = 1573 kg

.

Sum of all the 50 students' weight = 1392 + 1573 = 2965 kg

Average of the 50 students' weight = 2965 ÷ 50 = 59.3 kg

.

Answer: The average weight of the 50 students is 59.3 kg

Let weight of 1 in a be 58/24(x)
Let weight of 1 in b be 60.5/26(y)
Therefore average weight of all
∑x +∑y/2
58/24 x24 +60.5/26x26/2
=118.5/2
=59.25 kg
