The answer is 85kg.
Solution:-
Let x be the average weight
Case-1
Sum of weights of people / 8 people = x
So the sum of weights of people = 8x .......1
Case-2
Sum of weights of people / 8 people = x + 2.5
So the sum of weights of people here is 8(x + 2.5) = 8x + 20 ......2
Subtracting 1 from 2,we get;
8x + 20 - 8x = 20
So weight of the new guy is 20kg more than the previous guy.
Hence,new guy weighs: 65 + 20 = 85kg
