Here is the answer.

let a, b , c be the respective weights in kg
so, a+b+c /3 =45
or, a+b+c =3×45=135 kg _________1st

Also, a+b /2 = 40
or, a+b =40×2=80kg____________2nd

From 1st n 2nd , c = 135-80=55 kg

Also, b+c /2= 43 kg
or, b+c =43×2=86 kg
or, b+55 =86..............as c =55 kg

so, b =86-55=31 kg
so, a = 80-31=49 kg

So, weight of b is 31 kg.
