Total weight of students = average weight × no of students
=36 kg × 24
=864 kg
let teacher's weight be x
then A/Q
(x + 864 kg)÷25 = 37 kg
x + 864 kg = 25 × 37 kg
x + 864 kg = 925 kg
x = 925 kg - 864 kg
therefore x = 61 kg

Answer:

The weight of the teacher is 61 kg.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the average weight of 24 students is 36 kg when the weight of the teacher is included, the average weight becomes 1 kg more.

To find: the weight of the teacher.

Total weight of students = average weight × no of students

                                        =36 kg × 24

                                        =864 kg

Let the teacher's weight be x so,

(x + 864)/25 = 37

x + 864= 25 × 37

x + 864 kg = 925

        x = 925 - 864

        x=61

So, the teacher's weight is x = 61 kg.
