The ball rolls when we apply some force on it... The force acts on it as long as their is no other force acting to oppose it....But their is that opposing force present my friend and that is FRICTION....
DUE TO THE FORCE OF FRICTION THE BALL STOPS AFTER SOME TIME....EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULD REMAIN IN MOTION UNLESS ANOTHER FORCE ACTS ON IT.... BUT THE FRICTION ITSELF IS A FORCE.
SO FORCE OF FRICTION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STOPPING OF THE BALL
IF HELPFUL MARK ME AS YOUR FRIEND!!
