Given:-

diameter = 5 mm = 5/10 cm = 0.5 cm

Radius (r) = 0.5/2

Height (h) = 7 cm

Formula for volume of cylender = π×r×r×h

= 22/7 × 0.5/2 × 7

=22×0.5/2

=11×0.5

=5.5 cm cube

1liter = 1000 cm cube

So,

= 5.5×1000

= 5500 pens

So, the child can fill 5500 pens with one litre of ink

Answer:

Volume of ink bottle = no: of times× volume of ink pen

volume of ink bottle = 1000cm

1000 = no: of times× πr²h

1000 = no: of times× 22/7 × 1/4 × 1/4 × 7

1000 = no: of times× 11/8

no: of times = 1000× 8/11

= 8000/11

= 727.2727

Hope it helps!!
