the base and corresponding altitudes of a parallelogram are 10cm and 12cm respectively . If the other altitude is 8cm find the length of the other pair of parallel sides.

Area of a llgm = b*h

= 10cm * 12cm

= 120cm^2

Since the area of llgm is same as by any base and it's corresponding altitude.

Hence 120cm^2 = x * 8cm

=) x = 120/8cm


= 15 cm.


Then the length of the other pair of parallel side = 15cm.
