let the ratio be 3x and 4x
3x+4x=96
7x=76
x=76/7
x=10.85
base=10.85×3=32.55
height=10.85×4=43.40

Question

The base and height of at triangle are in the ratio 3:4 and its area is 96 sq.m . find its base and height

Answer base = 3×4 = 12cm and height = 4×4 = 16 cm

Solution

Let the base be 3x

Let the height be 4x

Area of triangle, A = ½ × base × altitude = 96

96 = ½ × base × ¼ base

96 = 6x²

x² = 16 or x = 4

base = 3×4 = 12cm and

height = 4×4 = 16 cm

Hope it helps uh!
