Solution : .

Base of isosceles triangle = 10 ÷ 2 cm
=5 cm
Other Side of isosceles triangle = 13 cm

To Find : Perimeter of isosceles triangle ?

We know that, In Isosceles Triangle, Any two sides are Equal.

Perimeter = 10 + 13 + 13

Perimeter = 36 cm

Now, H² = P² + b²

( 13)² = P² + (5)²

169 - 25 = P²

•°• P = 5 cm

Now, According to the Question!

Area of Is∆ = ½ × base × Height

Area of is∆ = ½ × 5 × 12

Area of is∆ = 60 cm²

Therefore, Area of Isosceles Triangle is 60 cm².

kis2: how we can use this formula for triangle since the is not there
kis2: height is absent
Anonymous: 169 - 25 = 144 and √124 = 12.. not 5.. correct it

Given :

Base of isosceles triangle = 10 cm

One of the equal sides = 13 cm

By using Pythagoras Theorem ,

We can find out the height of the triangle ,

First divide the base by 2 ,

So the base of the right angled triangle = 10/2 = 5 cm

Now ,

H² = B² + P²

13² = 5²+P²

169 = 25+P²

169-25 = P²

144 = P²

P = 12 cm

The required height = 12 cm

Area of the triangle

= ½ × Base × Height

= ½ × 10 × 12

= 60 cm²

Perimeter = Sum of All The Sides

= 10+13+13 = 36 cm
