base = 6cm
perpendicular = 8cm
hypotenuse = ?
we know
by pythagoras theorem
hypotenuse^2=base^2+perpendicular^2
= 6^2 + 8^2
=36 + 64
= 100
hypotenuse = root(100) = 10cm
perpendicular = 8cm
hypotenuse = ?
we know
by pythagoras theorem
hypotenuse^2=base^2+perpendicular^2
= 6^2 + 8^2
=36 + 64
= 100
hypotenuse = root(100) = 10cm

hola!!
your answer is here,

according to Pythagoras theorem:-
h^2=p^2+b^2
given,
base=6cm
perpendicular=8cm
h^2=(8cm)^2+(6cm)^2
h^2=64cm^2+36cm^2
h^2=100cm^2
h=root 100cm^2
h=10cm
_______________
hope it helps you
