Answer:

base=51.6 and height=17.2

Step-by-step explanation:

let the height of the parallelogram be x

then,base of the parallelogram 3x

we know that area of a parallelogram is base×height

Now we have given that area of the parallelogram is 897sq.cm

or,base×height=897sq.cm

or,(3x)×(x)=897sq.cm

or,3x^2=897

or,x^2=897/3

or,x^2=299

or,x=√299=17.2

therefore x=17.2

height=x=17.2

and base=3x=51.6

Let height = x

base = 3x

Area of parallelogram = 897 cm²

=> base × height = 897

=> 3x × x = 897

=> 3x² = 897

=> x² = 897/3

=> x² = 277

=> x = √277

=> x = 16.64 cm

h => 16.64 cm

b = 3×16.64 cm => 49.92 cm
