Solution

let height(h)=h cm

therefore..base (b)=2h cm

now.. according to the problem...

b \times h = 144 \\  =  > 2h \times h = 144 \\  =  > h {}^{2}  = 72 \\  =  > h =  \sqrt{72}  = 6 \sqrt{2}  \: cm

Answer:

Let Height of llgm = X cm

so,

its base will be = 2x cm

now,

area of llgm = Base * Height

x * 2x = 144

2x² = 144

= 72

x = 62cm (Ans)
