To find area of triangle
Given :
- Base of right triangle is 4 cm
- Hypotnuse measure is 5 cm.
To find the Area In Right angled triangle, When only base and hypotenuse are given ::
- a= base
- C = hypotenuse
= A = 1/2 × a√C²-a²
= A = 1/2 × 4×√5²-4²
= A = 2 × √25-16
= A = 2×√9
= A = 2×3
=A = 6
ie, Area of triangle = 6 cm²
›»› The area of the right angle triangle is 6 cm².
- The base of a right angle triangle measures 4 cm and its hypotenuse measure 5 cm.
- The area of the right angle triangle.
Here in this question we have to find the area of right angle triangle. So, firstly we need to find the perpendicular or height of right angle triangle, after that we will find the area of right angle triangle on the basis of conditions given above.
Since, we are provided with hypotenuse, and base of a right angle triangle, by using the Pythagoras theorem we get perpendicular of right angle traingle.
To find the area of triangle we will use the formula for finding the are of traingle which says Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h.
Let us assume that, the perpendicular of right angle triangle is p cm.
As we know that
⇒Hypotenuse² = Perpendicular ² + Base²
⇒ Perpendicular² = Hypotenuse² - Base²
⇒ p² = 25 - (4)²
⇒ p² = 25 - 16
⇒ p² = 9
⇒ p = √9
⇒ p = 3.
Now,
As we know that
⇒ Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h
⇒ Area of triangle = 1/2 × 4 × 3
⇒ Area of triangle = 1 × 2 × 3
⇒ Area of triangle = 2 × 3
⇒ Area of triangle = 6 cm².
