first we find height

so, by phythagoras thorem

==> (H)^2 = (P)^2+(B)^2

==> (50)^2 = (P)^2+(48)^2

==> 2500 =  (P)^2 + 2304

==> 196 = (P)^2

==> P = 14

SO, WE KNOW THAT AREA OF RIGHT ANGLE TRIANGLE

==> 1/2 * BASE  * HEIGHT

==> 1/2 * 48 * 14

==> 24*14

==> 336 CM^2
