Base and Hypotenuse of the triangle are 48cm and 50cm respectively.

We will find height of the triangle.

By Pythagoras theorem ,

  • Sum of the square of base and height is equal to square of hypotenuse.

Base² +Height²=Hypotenuse²

→ Putting values , we get ,

→ 48² + Height² = 50²

→ Height² = 50² - 48²

→ Height² = 2500 - 2304

→ Height² = 196

Height = 14cm

Hence , height of triangle is 14cm.

We know ,

  • base = 48cm
  • Height = 14cm

Puttimg values , we get...

→ Area = (1/2)×48×14

→ Area = 336cm²

Hence , area of triangle is 336cm².

Step-by-step explanation:

the base of right angle ( b) = 48 cm

the hypotenuse of angle (h) = 50 cm

let height ( lamb )of angle = l

so, h^ = l^+ b^

50^ = l^+ 48 ^

50^ - 48 ^ = l^

2500 - 2304 = l^

196 = l^

√ 196 = l

14 = l

So, height = 14cm

So, the area of right traingle = 1/2 × b× h

= 1/2 × 48×14

= 134 cm^
