Solutions :-

Given :
a = 48 cm
b = c = 30 cm

Semi perimeter = (s) = (48 + 30 + 30)/2 = 54 cm

By heron's formula,

Area  \:  \: of  \:  \: triangle = \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{54(54 - 48)(54 - 30)(54 - 30)}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{54 \times 6 \times 24 \times 24}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{186624}  = 432

Answer : Area of triangle = 432 cm²
