The base of an isoceles triangle measures 24cm ans its area is 60cm^2 find its perimeter

Let the height be h

Given that,
Base of traingle, b = 24cm

And,
Area of triangle = 60 cm²

(1/2)×b×h = 60

(1/2)×24×h = 60

h = 60×2/24

h = 5 cm

Now, using Pythagoras theorem other two sides of isoceles traingle which are equal

= √(12²+5²) = √169 = 13cm

Now,
Perimeter = 13+13+24 = 26+24 = 50cm
