Area = [s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]^0.5

= [54x6x24x24]^0.5

= 18x24 = 432 sq cm.

Method 2: Altitude on the base = [30^2–24^2]^0.5 = [54x6]^0.5 - 18 cm.

Area of the triangle = 48*18/2 = 432 sq cm.

There are some more methods besides these two.
