Area of a triangle is given by = 1/2 × base × height.

And perimeter is obtained by adding all its sides.

WE know base but we don't know its other two sides which are equal in length.

But we can find that side easily because area has been given.

area = 1/2 ×base× height

192 = 1/2 × 24 × h

h = 16

Now the altitude of the isosceless triangle divided base into two equal parts and makes a right angle. So we can use Pythagorean theorem.

Perpendicular = 16
Base = 12

Hypotenuse = 20

That hypotenuse is the unknown side.

so now you know all the three sides. Just add them up.

20+20+24 = 64 is your perimeter.. .answer.
