Answer:

Hypotenuse=12.72cm

Step-by-step explanation:

as it was given a right angeld triangle

so its base will equal to its perpendicular

base=9cm

perpendicular=9cm

by Pythagoras method

h^2=b^2+p^2

h^2=9^2+9^2

h^2=81+81

h^2=162

h=√162

h=12.72

Hypotenuse 12.72cm

base = 9

let common difference be d

so perpendicular = 9 +d

hypotenuse = 9+2d

(9+2d)^2 = 9^2 +(9+d)^2

(9+2d)^2 -(9+d)^2 = 81

(9+2d+9 +d )(9+2d-9- d) = 81

(18 + 3d)( d) = 81

3(6 +d) (d) = 81

d^2 + 6d -27 = 0

d^2 +9d -3d -27 = 0

d( d+9) -3( d+9) = 0

d= 3,-9 neglect -9

So d= 3

So hypotenuse = 9 +2(3) = 9 +6 = 15
