Answer:

The base of the trapezium and that of the triangle are parallel.

altitude of triangle ( height) = 14cm

triangle is right angled

sin 90° = perpendicular/base

1 = 14 / base

base = 14cm

area of triangle = h * b = 14 * 14 = 196cm²
