Let b, h are base and corresponding

altitude of the triangle.

b = 23 cm ,

area of the triangle = 161 cm² [ given ]

=> ( bh/2 ) = 161

=> 23h/2 = 161

=> h = ( 161 × 2 )/23

=> h = 7 × 2

=> h = 14 cm

Therefore ,

Altitude ( h ) = 14 cm
