Given :  The base radius of a cone is 6cm and the height is 8cm,

To Find : C.S.A

Solution:

C.S.A   - Curved surface area

C.S.A  of Cone = πRL

R = Base Radius of cone = 6 cm

L = Slant Height

L² = R² + h²

h = height of cone = 8 cm

=> L² = 6² + 8²

=> L² =  36 + 64

=> L² = 100

=> L = 10 cm

C.S.A  of Cone = πRL

π = 3.14

R = 6 cm

L = 10 cm

=> C.S.A  of Cone  = (3.14)*6 * 10

= 188.4  cm²
