Given :-

  • Base radius of the cylinder is 7 cm
  • Height of the cylinder is 3 cm

To Find :-

  • Curved surface area of circle

Solution :-

~Here, we're given the base radius , height of a cylinder and we need to find the curved surface area of that cylinder. We can easily find the curved surface area of this cylinder by applying it's formula.

As we know that ,

CSA = 2πrh

Where,

  • CSA is curved surface area
  • π is 22/7
  • r is base radius
  • h is height

Finding the CSA :-

⠀⟶⠀CSA = 2πrh

⠀⟶⠀2 × 22/7 × 7 cm × 3 cm

⠀⟶⠀2 × 22 × 1 cm × 3 cm

⠀⟶⠀132 cm²

Hence,

Curved surface area of the cylinder is 132 cm²

Answer:

C.S.A of cylinder = 132cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

radius = 7cm

height = 3cm

we know that,

C.S.A of cylinder = 2\pi rh

                           = 2 × \frac{22}{7} × 7 × 3

                           = 132cm^2
