It was fought between Nawab of Bengal and East India Company.

At that time the Nawab of Bengal was SirAjuDaula.

And the commander of British East India Company was Robert Clive .

It was fought on 23 rd of June, 1757 .

This was the first time biggest victory of Britishers in India.

After this they became powerful.
