The below graph shows the velocity/time graph curve of two objects A and B The acceleration for bodies :

(1) A(positive/negative)
(2) B(positive/negative)

Explanation:

The slope of v-t graph gives acceleration. Since the v-t graph for both A and B are curves (looks like parabola) acceleration is not constant through the motion and it changes continuously.

For A: The slope at t=0 is more negative than at some t. It indicates during the motion of A, acceleration changes from more negative value to less negative value (NEGATIVE STILL)

For B: It is clear that it has positive slope, but changes continuously, i.e, more positive acceleration to less positive acceleration (POSITIVE)
