The best example of the extinction of species due to man's intervention is the Pink-headed duck

They were widely present in the Indo-Gangetic Plain and Brahmaputra valley and in the swampy river beds of Myanmar but are not visible since 1950.

Human activities like conversion of swampy lands into cultivable lands, deforestation, clearing forest land etc have attributed to the extinction of this species like many other species.

There are mainly two types of extinction. One is intentional whereas another one is accidental.

No matter what the cases are, human has the biggest role in the distinction of these species.

The species such as Javan tiger, noronhomyms, dodo, Tecopa pupfish, elao monarch, wake island rail, delalande’s coua, etc. are few examples.
