makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” - Gustav Flaubert.
This is correct, really travelling makes one modest. So, here's mine.
I was sitting in my room studying then after half an hour my father called my mother.
He told her that he was taking us to Canberra in Australia next morning.
When my mother told me, I was both surprised and happy. It was the first time, I was going out of India.
I slept early for the trip. I normally sleep at 11 pm but that day it was 9 pm.
We left for our flight at 5 am as the timings were of 6:30 pm.
We first set off to Delhi as my city Chandigarh will just provide it.
Me and my nuclear family reached there at 11 pm.
Now, the flight was late, so we had to live with my maternal aunt for a night.
She is so cool!! We set off for Canberra at 6 am and the flight was of 8 am.
I was enjoying in that flight as we were sitting in business part of the aeroplane.
I am allergic to strawberries and I by mistakenly ate that and it's taste was amazing but later I was rushing to vomit again and again but rest of the food was amazing.
I read my favourite book series 'Harry Potter' as there was a facility for books over there.
After this cool journey, we were in Canberra. We set off to our hotel room and it was way better than the Indian rooms.
We kept the luggage in the room and set off again to enjoy.
We had first gone to the famous art gallery over there. It was amazing.
Australian war memorial had a lot of education related objects but sadly it was not allowed to take pictures.
There was a lot to visit over there. Loved it.
The food was amazing and as it was Christmas there was a feast.
The hotel room was just for sleeping.
When after one week we were coming back, I was on a verge of crying.
