Blood:- the blood consists of plasma and formed elements.
1.Plasma
In blood 55- 60% is plasma which contains 90 -92% water, inorganic salts, proteins, and organic compounds.
2.Formed elements
These are also called as floating bodies, blood cells or blood corpuscles.

transport of respiratory gases

ex- all harmones from endocrine glands.
transport of excretory matter
ex- blood in afferent renal artery contains more waste matter than efferent renal vein.
