PERIPLANETA, otherwise known as cockroach does not have properly developed blood vessels in its body with multiple exits within the body cavity, and thus the blood flows quite freely throughout most of the body.
As a consequence the visceral organs of its body are immersed in blood. That is why it is said to have an open Circulatory system.
