●. Arteries : These are the blood vessels which brings blood from the heart to the body organs.

●. Veins: These blood vessels which brings back blood from the various body parts to the heart for purification.

●. The blood brought by the the arteries are commonly known as oxygenated blood because of the presence of high amount of oxygen

●. This blood is usually more red in colour because it is pure blood or it is having more oxygen amount than the blood carried by the vein.

●. The blood carried by the veins may not be seen as red as the blood found in arteries because of the the large amount of carbon dioxide found in it.
