let the kinetic energy for the velocity 2 be 9x

than,from K.E is equal to 1/2mv2. for velocity 1

4x is equal to 1/2mv2

2x is equal to I/2mv for v1. eq 1

similarly, 3x is equal to 1/2mv for v2. eq2

divide eq 1by2

On dividing,we get v1/v2 is equal to 3/2
