Let,

Present age of Ankush = x year

Present age of His Mother = y years

Case(1).

(The sum of the present age of Ankush and his mother is 89 years.)

➡ x + y = 89 __________(1)

Case(2).

(after 11 years, mother’s age will be twice Suresh’s age.)

➡(y+11) = 2 × (x+11)

➡y - 2x = 22 - 11

➡y - 2x = 11___________(2)

Subtract equ(1) & equ(2)

➡x + 2x = 89 - 11

➡3x = 78

➡ = 78/3

➡x = 26

Keep in equ(1)

➡y + 26 = 89

➡ y= 89 - 26

➡y = 63

Hence

Present age of Ankush = 26 years

Present age of His mother = 63 years
