The body of a deep water sea fishing often bursts when brought to the surface suddenly because of the following reasons:
- Initially in deep water , the fish experiences high pressure due to presence of a large column of water.
- As a result of this high pressure , the respiratory gases get dissolved in blood at high pressure.
- In simple terms , the inside of the fish is also at high pressure to counteract the pressure of the water.
- But , when the fish is suddenly brought out of the water , the inside of the fish is still in high pressure ; whereas the outside of the fish has much lesser pressure.
- This causes the fish to burst.
Hope It Helps.
