Total number of oscillation in 5 minutes = 50

Total number of oscillation in 1 minute = 50/5 = 10

Hence 60 seconds have 10 oscillation

1 second = 10/60 = .16 oscillation

Hence frequency = .16 or 1/6 hz

Total time taken = 1/frequency

T = 1/f

T = 1/(1/6) = 6/1

Hence 6 seconds.
